Cheshire Youth Softball


Cheshire Youth Softball has changed affiliation for the 2016 season from Babe Ruth to Little League. All girls ages 7-14 are eligible to play. Please note that in the older division (12-14), the Cheshire Flames players will no longer play in the traditional rec division. The Flames will continue to play in the 10u division.

Cheshire Youth Softball will provide programs for the following age groups this coming spring. Other than our instructional program, most age groups will practice and/or play 2-3 times per week.

Instructional Softball ages 6-7 (Minimum of 12 girls registered necessary)*

This program is intended to introduce softball to young girls interested in the sport. Teams play/practice once a week on Saturday mornings. This program is specific to girls 7 & under.

8u Softball Farms Division- ages 7-8

In-town recreational softball program for girls comprised of 4-6 teams. Emphasis on skill development and playing the game for fun. Competition and level of play is made appropriate for age group.

10u Softball Minors Division ages 9-10

In-town recreational softball program for girls comprised of 4-6 teams. Emphasis on skill development, learning and playing the game for fun. Competition and level of play is made appropriate for age group.

12u Softball Majors Division ages 11-12

In-town recreational softball program for girls comprised of 4-6 teams. Emphasis on skill development, learning and playing the game for fun. Competition and level of play is made appropriate for age group.
