Cheshire, CT — The 3rd Annual Greenwood Gauntlet delivered a full weekend of competitive baseball, as the tournament expanded into separate Majors and Minors divisions and crowned two champions.
After last year’s blended format, this year returned to a more traditional structure, creating deeper competition across both divisions while maintaining the same preseason intensity.

Team Fredyna emerged as Majors champions, overcoming a competitive field that saw multiple undefeated teams in pool play.
Team Farrell and Team Bagetta both finished pool play at 2-0, setting the pace early with high-powered offenses and strong run differentials. Team Fredyna, sitting at 1-1 after pool play, found their rhythm at the right time and capitalized when it mattered most to secure the championship.
