What is Pitch, Hit & Run?

Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a free event that provides a safe and fun environment for kids to stay active and enjoy baseball and softball in their local communities. Participation offers athletes the chance to compete and earn a spot in a Team Championship and potentially advance to the Finals.

Pitch, Hit & Run is designed for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 years old, testing their individual skills in pitching, hitting, and running. Each athlete earns a cumulative score at the end of the competition. Based on their scores, they can progress from a Local Competition to a Team Championship hosted at MLB ballparks, and ultimately to the Finals at the MLB World Series.

The best part? It’s free!

Athletes can participate at no cost.
