The COMETS are the premier Little League Travel Baseball program in Cheshire offering CYB players further development with pre-season training, focused skills instruction, and district travel games. At the conclusion of the spring league, COMETS players are eligible for Little League tournaments locally in Connecticut and our All Stars will begin their journey to the LLWS!

The COMETS are actively holding tryouts for the spring 2025 season for all levels.



District Travel Baseball Info

District Travel supplements spring Cheshire Youth Baseball (CYB) Little League offering additional player instruction and weekend games to prepare for summer tournaments at the conclusion of the league schedule.

Any CYB player is eligible for Comets travel team only if they are a registered CYB player for the same season – they must do both.

COMETS travel program will include winter conditioning. Once the regular season begins, COMETS players will have one weekday practice and games on Sunday, in addition to the normal CYB schedule. Typically, travel games start between 9:00 & 1:00. All games are limited to two-hours duration. Comets season ends at the same time as CYB Little League. Comets players are encouraged to tryout for Allstar and Sea Breeze tournament teams which run through early-summer (mid-July).

An additional fee of is required. The fee for 2024 was $300 to cover league dues, insurance, umpire(s) game fee, winter clinic, team equipment, and consumables. Players will receive a COMETS jersey and practice shirt. The 2025 fee is not expected to exceed 2024.
